Getting to Socotra by air
The easiest way to reach Socotra by air is from Abu Dhabi International Airport, with three weekly flights starting in October 2024. See the Socotra flight schedule. The carrier is Air Arabia (flights are not available on their website for booking)
How to book?
Flights can be booked directly with Emirates Aviation Services or your Socotra tour operator. However, be aware that many non-local individuals are selling flights and tour packages that could cost you more than dealing directly with local tour operators or their trusted licensed partners.
How to pay?
The EVS currently does not accept bank card payments; you can book the flight by direct bank transfer. Hellosocotra accepts credit card payments if you wish to book through us. Once the payment is made, you must attach a copy of your passport and the payment receipt; your flight ticket will be issued within 1 to 2 business days.
How about the entry visa?
To get an entry visa, you must purchase a tour package. The immigration office here in Socotra requires it when applying for a visa. Each tour operator must submit a detailed tour itinerary along with other paperwork to immigration. The processing time can take up to 7 business days.
